Ingredients: Mustard leaves 40%, Spinach 20%, Refined Cotton seed oil, Water, Onion, Garlic, Tomato, Salt, Maize flour, Green chilli, Spices (Coriander, Fennel, Turmeric, Black pepper, Nutmeg, Mace, Cloves, Fenugreek leaves, Black cardamom, Green cardamom, Asafoetida), Cumin seeds, Red Chilli, Raising agent: Sodium Bicarbonate
Sarson Ka Saag is a popular vegetarian dish from the Punjab region of India. It is made from mustard leaves (sarson), spinach leaves and spices. Mustard leaves and spinach are cooked slowly for several hours at a very low temperature to maintain freshness and aroma.
It is often served with chapati, naan or Basmati Rice.
Sarson Ka Saag is suitable as a base for various curry sauces with meat, vegetables and legumes.
Preparation:
The pouch is Microwave Safe. Cut the pouch from the top corner and place it upright in the microwave. Heat for 2-3 min. Open and serve.
Boil water in a pan. Immerse the sealed pouch in boiling water for 3-5 min. Open and serve.
Open the pouch and empty the contents into a pan. Heat for 3-5 min. while stirring occasionally.
