India Gate Basmati rice originates from the heart of Basmati growing land of India - the Terai region of North-Western Himalaya. Its manufactured by world's largest millers and exporters of Basmati rice .
Rice is distinguished by the long length, fineness and smooth texture of its grains. The cooked grains won't break or stick together. The aroma is delicate and the taste is simply irresistible. Rice grains elongate up to three times their length when cooked.
Cooking method.
* Rince the rice thoroughly. * 5 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. * In a large cooking pot, bring water to rolling boil. Add the drained rice and stir gently. * Cook uncovered for 6-7 min. on medium heat. Drain and rinse with more boiling water. * Strain excess water and serve
