KRG Tropic Moong (Mung, Mungo) Dall Washed - peeled lentils.

Dal (Daal, Dhal, Dahl) is a term used in the Indian subcontinent for dried legumes (lentils, peas and beans). These legumes are very popular for the preparation of soups and dishes, are among the most important staple foods in the countries of South Asia and form an important part of the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent.

Moong Washed can be eaten raw or cooked. It is a great addition to salads, soups and main courses. It is very easily digestible and does not cause bloating.

Mung lentils are high in iron, protein, and fiber, making them a popular part of vegetarian and vegan meals.

Lenses remove toxins from the body and improve liver function.

Preparation: rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water overnight to soften them more quickly during cooking. Then cook over a low flame and salt before the end of cooking.  We recommend turmeric and coriander to flavor the lentils
