Rice vinegar is the basic ingredient for preparing perfectly seasoned sushi rice. Compared to ordinary vinegar, rice vinegar has a sour and slightly sweet taste. Vinegar is suitable for sushi, marinades, salad dressings, to acidify pickled vegetables. At the same time, rice vinegar prevents the pickled ingredients from losing color.
