Swagat Urid Chilka (Black lentils)
Urid Dal Chilka is a very popular and important type of lentil in India, which is distinguished from other types of lentils by its distinctly aromatic taste.
Urid Chilka is rich in protein, fiber and minerals (iron, phosphorus and potassium). It contains a high proportion of fiber and vitamin B6. The advantage of Urid lentils is their low fat and cholesterol content, which makes them an ideal food for those trying to follow a healthy diet.
